December 9th Market Update and Map 2.0

Paul Claxton

It's Gonna Be A Cold One!

Below is Map 2.0 as well as some Key Updates. Because of the wind and cold forecasted for Saturday, we decided to get snug as a bug in a rug. Everyone has been moved to the ELS site or in the alley:

1. Please pay your vendor fee online prior to setting up your booth. This frees us up to keep your beer iced down, the spiked hot drinks hot, and the event running smoothly. See the button below and be awesome.

2. No space heaters. They draw too much power and resulted in several breakers tripping the last market. Low voltage lighting only. Saturday will be chilly (and by chilly I mean colder that Souther Louisiana is used to) so please dress accordingly.

3. Bring extra extension cords and weights for your tent.

4. Help us keep the market clean. Tidy up once you've taken your tent down. Please discard any cut zip-ties in the trash bins.

5. Set up is from 2 pm to 4 pm. Please arrive early as it will be dark by the time the market kicks off. This gives you time to grab some snacks and a drink or three from the Vendor Hospitality area.

6. Unload your vehicles and immediately park your car.

If you do not see your name but planned on attending, please shoot us a quick note and we'll get you added where possible. If you are on the list but do not plan on attending, please let us know. Space is very limited and we hate to have empty gaps. Any changes at this point we'll take care of the day of the market.

Again, we want this event to be amazing for everyone. Let us know what you need and we'll do our best to accommodate.  Look for an updated map a few days prior to Friday.

Thanks!

Paul

Remember - Please leave those space heaters at Home!

White Light Night is upon us!

Below is Map Version 2.0 as well as some Key Updates:

1. Please pay your vendor fee online prior to setting up your booth. This frees us up to keep your beer iced down and the event running smoothly. See the button below.

2. No space heaters. They draw too much power and resulted in several breakers tripping last market. Low voltage lighting only. Friday's low is 56 Degrees so please dress accordingly.

3. Bring extra extension cords and weights for your tent.

4. Help us keep the market clean. Tidy up once you've taken your tent down. Please discard any cut zip-ties in the trash bins.

5. Set up is from 3 pm to 5:30 pm. Please arrive early as it will be dark by the time the market kicks off. This gives you time to grab some snacks and a drink or three from the Vendor Hospitality area.

6. Unload your vehicles and immediately park you car. This market will be a bit cramped and we won't have use of Ragusa's or the alley way drive through.

7. Parking will be tight so get here EARLY.

If you do not see your name but planned on attending, please shoot us a quick note and we'll get you added where possible. If you are on the list but do not plan on attending, please let us know. Space is very limited and we hate to have empty gaps.

October's Market Update 2.0

Paul Claxton

Hey-O!

We're sending the second update along with Version 2.0 of the sitemaps. Yes - I said Maps! Because you've helped grow this little monthly market into an Epic Neighborhood Event, we've had to break down some walls and cross borders. If you don't see your name in Map 1, check Map 2 which is just across the street from the front of the building :)

A couple of Important Notes:

1. We've invited Trick-or-Treaters! Be sure to have a bowl of candy for your booth. You're also welcome to dress up for the night.

2. Be sure to check out our new Shipping Container store. It's something we're rolling out more of in 2018.

3. We're working on getting two music venues to help spread 'the vibe' of the market. We've also added several food and beverage vendors to help move the crowds around.

As always, if you have any concerns or questions, don't hesitate to drop us an email. If you see or don't see your name and were not planning or planning to attend - Please let us know.

If you're not a member of our Facebook Group, do a quick search and get added:

Midcity Makers Market: Members Only

I'll send another update once we get closer to the Market date.

Thanks!
